Provides direct bedside care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff • Assists patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility • Safely transfers and ambulates patients using appropriate equipment and techniques • Takes and records vital signs and reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff • Assists with repositioning patients to maintain comfort and prevent skin breakdown • Maintains a clean, safe patient environment • Observes infection control and safety procedures at all times • Provides emotional support to patients and families • Documents care activities accurately and timely. • Serves as the communication hub for the unit • Answers phones, relays messages, and coordinates communication between departments • Maintains patient charts, records, and electronic documentation • Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharge paperwork • Orders supplies and maintains unit inventory • Schedules and coordinates internal requests as directed by nursing staff • Supports workflow to ensure efficient patient care operations • Performs general clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and report preparation.
