p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills; ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for our students, faculty and partners; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to interact effectively with administrators, faculty, staff, students, visitors, and community partners; demonstrated verbal and written communication abilities; knowledge of or desire to learn Qualtrics, BP Logix, CampS, WorkDay and other commonly-used university applications; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to organize meetings, communicate effectively, generate a variety of documents, and maintain records; ability to learn the Teacher Education Program database; ability to learn new systems, software, and processes quickly; ability to conduct tasks professionally and confidentially; ability to multi-task and work efficiently and effectively; ability to be flexible and work collaboratively as part of a team serving all of the Teacher Education programs including Department Chairs, the Director of the Teacher Education Program, the Certification Officer, and the Field Placement Coordinator; ability to work independently on tasks with minimal supervision; and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity. The TEP office arranges placements for all students pursuing a career in education, works with the Department of Public Instruction to maintain accreditation of our education programs, communicates extensively with school partners and endorses candidates for teaching licensure.
