As General Office Worker, your responsibilities would include: Retrieving and bundling government-requested files and stage for government personnel, Re-shelving files returned by government personnel, Connecting incoming correspondence to shelved files, Performing tasks related to preparing for and conducting naturalization ceremonies, including printing and distribution of naturalization certificates and the retrieval of documentation from applicants, Providing support at naturalization ceremonies such as escorting applicants and collecting and logging green cards, Providing support for the processing of forms and applications used in the adjudication process, Scanning large multi-page documents, Supporting facility operations including internal mail delivery, intra-site file movement and storage, facility setup and teardown for naturalization ceremonies, file staging, physical maintenance of file rooms, Adhering to secure facility access control policies and procedures, Adhering to DHS Secure Forms procedures, Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: The General Office Worker is a permanent, full-time position supporting the overall mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by supporting the logistical operations of a local Field Office.
