Community Outreach Administrative Aides assist Community Outreach Workers in promoting and implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the Cook County Treasurer’s Office throughout the different communities of Cook County. Community Outreach Aides contribute by promoting the mission and programs of the office through partnership agreements and involvement with community and faith-based organizations.
Identifies active Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) that serve the people of Cook County.
Assists in coordinating the Treasurer’s outreach communication, focusing on developing program messaging.
Assis with planning, coordinates and executes outreach events within the community.
Assists with development of program messaging and community relations efforts.
Assists with research efforts and aids in the development and implementation of policies regarding the marketing and communication of Treasurers programs and agenda.
Distributes literature at community meetings to promote office programs.
May assists Outreach management in the development and implementation of long and short-range plans designed to communicate Treasurer’s programs and improvements.
Develops strategies for public dissemination of Treasurer’s policies and programs regarding directives.
Attends events and promotes Treasurer’s programs and initiatives

Ability to work in a highly confidential environment, receiving clients and dealing with public and media inquiries.
Ability to work cooperatively with management and personnel in the coordination or delivery of services as provided by the agency.

Minimum Qualifications
