    The Clerical Assistant will provide front desk support by answering phones, greeting visitors and participants, handling incoming mail and deliveries, and assisting with basic clerical tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and copying.

    Candidate qualifications: 

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • At least one year of related experience preferred. 
    • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrates organizational skills including the ability to set priorities, handle multiple projects and responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
    • Demonstrates intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook, and develops competency with applicable web-based systems used by the program within the first 90 days of employment. 

    What You'll Do: 

    • Answer phone calls, forwards calls to appropriate staff, takes messages, and answers basic questions about the organization and programs.
    • Monitor the reception/lobby area and greets visitors in a manner that reflects the organization’s values, either on a regular schedule or as back-up when needed.
    • Maintain order in the reception area, including stocking any brochures and materials for distribution.
    • Open and distributes mail and receives deliveries.
    • May maintain copier, postage machine, and other office equipment by completing such tasks as adding paper and toner and monitoring postage funds.
    • May complete data entry tasks.
    • May set up, organize, and file documents in program and client files.
    • May assist with distribution/tracking of program gift cards, transit cards, and other materials.
    • May order and maintain inventory of office supplies.

    Job details:  

    • Compensation: Hourly: Range is between $19.25-$21.50/hour, offers are commensurate with experience. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs.     • Location: In-office: in the Marshfield office, with flexibility needed for occasional travel to local offices when needed. 
    • Schedule: Full-time, hourly; 9:00AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday.
