Location: Jeffersonville, IN

Pay Rate: $21.00+ per hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Here's what it takes to succeed with us.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Occupational Health Applied Sciences, Health Physics, Chemistry, or relevant field.
  • Spanish-speaking required.
  • 2+ years of progressive environmental health and safety audit management experience.
  • Fluent knowledge of OSHA regulations is required.
  • Regulatory and compliance experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Certifications as an ISO auditor and DOT & Hazardous Materials, and other industrial-related certifications are a plus.
  • Self-motivated out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Fluent knowledge of MS Office.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and design, as it fits the SR standard, to implement safety site audits that are compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001 to identify risks and show improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements from agencies such as Federal and Indian OSHA, EPA, DTSC, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Innovate the process for SR reporting, investigating, and supporting communication of accidents, hazards, and concerns that will comply with SR standards.
  • Support related departments by effective SR required methods that ensure alignment with company standard expectations and provide early warning if there is misalignment.
  • Support sites with emergency response preparation, including emergency plans, training and coaching.
  • Support designing, developing, and translating to Spanish all safety training materials to conduct necessary internal training.
  • Prepare and manage yearly external SR audit.
  • Daily site inspection using a checklist for compliance as needed.
