Job Overview - Administrative Coordinator (Human Resources)
Compensation: $28/hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Administrative Coordinator (Human Resources) in Philadelphia, PA for our client, supporting human resources operations, office administration, and employee services. This role will serve as a key liaison between departments while assisting with onboarding, employee records management, reporting, vendor coordination, and day-to-day administrative functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, administrative experience, and the ability to manage confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities as the Administrative Coordinator:
  • Human Resources Administration: Support onboarding, offboarding, employee records management, employment verifications, and other HR-related administrative processes.
  • Office Operations: Coordinate office supplies, vendor relationships, mail services, equipment tracking, and general administrative activities.
  • Calendar & Meeting Coordination: Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and support communication across departments and stakeholders.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain digital records, update databases, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy of employee and operational information.
  • Process Coordination: Assist with contracts, purchase requests, invoices, administrative forms, and cross-functional workflow management.
  • Employee Engagement Support: Assist with benefits administration, employee programs, wellness initiatives, recognition activities, and other special projects.
Qualifications for the Administrative Coordinator:
  • Education: Associate's degree is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in administrative support, office administration, human resources, or related functions within a large organization is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting human resources operations, employee records management, onboarding, and administrative processes is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience with HRIS, payroll, database, or workforce management systems is preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail are required.
