preferred. • Previous experience in radiology, medical records, health information management, imaging services, or a related healthcare environment preferred. • Familiarity with PACS, DICOM, RIS, and electronic medical record systems preferred. • Strong computer and data-entry skills. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to handle confidential patient information appropriately. • Strong communication and customer-service skills. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with radiology imaging systems or image archives. • Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology terminology. • Familiarity with HIPAA, DICOM standards, and healthcare information-management practices. • Experience troubleshooting basic PACS/image-transfer issues. Physical and Work Requirements • Ability to work for extended periods at a computer workstation. • Ability to handle and organize imaging media and related records. • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and manage multiple requests with accuracy and appropriate prioritization.
