    Job title: Administrative Assistant I

    Location: Los Angeles, CA 90089

    Duration: 2 months

    Schedule: 8:30am -5:00pm| Mon Fri

    Pay range: XXXXXXXXXXX7/hr. on w2

    Note:

    • Royal Street Parking Structure, parking XXXXXXXXXXX per day.

    Must have:

    • Professional Appearance and Presence: Must maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance at all times. This is a highly visible, student-facing position and requires someone who represents the department professionally.
    • Heavy Front Desk Experience: Previous experience managing a high-volume, busy front desk is required. Candidates should be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service.
    • Strong Customer/Student Service Skills: Must have experience assisting a high volume of individuals in person and over the phone. The candidate should be approachable, professional, patient, and comfortable interacting with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
    • Phone and Inquiry Management: Experience answering a high volume of incoming calls, determining the nature of the request, answering general questions, and directing or escalating individuals to the appropriate department or staff member.
    • Triage and Prioritization: Must be able to quickly assess student questions and needs, determine the appropriate resource or point of contact, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Manages front desk operations, answers incoming phone calls, and triages students to ensure they are connected with the appropriate resources or staff.
    • Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for an academic or administrative department
    • Prepares and edits correspondence, reports, and related materials and may guide staff responsible for producing these documents.
    • Maintains confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information, including student, faculty, and staff records.
    • Responds to inquiries and requests for information requiring knowledge of departmental and the policies and procedures.
    • Coordinates meetings and events, compiles data for departmental reports.

    Minimum Education:

    • Associate's degree Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.

    Minimum Field of Expertise:

    • Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience.
