Fully Onsite - East Orlando
Hourly Rate: $27-30 (depending on experience)

We have an exciting short-term opportunity to join a dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant! In this vital role, you’ll provide essential support to the Advancement Operations leadership, ensuring seamless office functionality and operational excellence during a transitional period. What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the front desk ambassador, greeting visitors, managing packages, issuing visitor badges, and troubleshooting day-to-day office issues
  • Manage high-level calendars for senior leadership, coordinating meetings and resolving scheduling conflicts
  • Draft, update, and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure smooth administrative workflows
  • Act as the main contact for vendor relations, contract management, and supply ordering
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and division-wide events, including town halls and staff recognition activities
  • Assist with expense reconciliation, travel arrangements, and logistical planning for key meetings and initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in front office or reception roles
  • Prior support experience in administration or operations
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with non-profit or educational institutions
  • Experience with SOP documentation or office management systems
  • Vendor and contract tracking knowledge
  • Event planning or meeting facilitation experience

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or relevant certifications preferred
  • Previous administrative support experience, ideally in a professional or nonprofit setting

Additional Requirements:

  • Business casual attire
  • Availability to start as early as next week, August 3rd
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
  • Flexibility to support occasional meetings and events outside of standard hours if needed
