The Float Pool at Sinai Hospital is a designated supplemental staffing pool designed to be used by nursing areas when unit staffing is insufficient to meet patient care needs.

Performs skilled nursing visits and completes coordination of client care, Point of contact for all disciplines involved with providing care to patients.

li>Demonstrates the ability to develop a plan of care that addresses needs across the continuum; have an intervention for problems identified; develop long- and short-term goals with specific time frames for resolution; identify specific services to be provided in the care plan; include the family/care-giver in the plan of care; and show life planning contingencies such as power of attorney and/or advance directives. Hall 1 is a 42-bed subacute rehab unit caring for patients with a wide range of complex medical needs including post-surgical recovery, wound care, IV therapy, cardiac conditions, respiratory support, orthopedic rehabilitation, and short-term skilled nursing care.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in coordinating care, supporting patients and families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.

Demonstrates Skill And Knowledge Of Procedures And Protocols Associated With The Care Of Patients With Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines, Swan-Qanz Catheters And Cardiac Output.

li>Monitoring is performed intra-procedure according to Radiology/Nursing policy to assess vital signs pallor responsiveness level of comfort emotional status; Neuro status and circulation are assessed according to Radiology policy and as indicated by the procedure; provides patient care utilizing the nursing process; information related to changes in patient's condition is relayed accurately and efficiently to the physician. Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition invasive pressure monitoring conscious sedation emergency care and comprehensive assessment skills preferred.
