• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830 - $1,930

• Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year
• Additional Notes: Floating may include MSICU, PCCU, and care for boarders up to four

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience caring for complex neuro and cardiovascular critical care patients
• Ability to manage titratable vasoactive drips in a critical care setting
• Comfort reading and interpreting your own telemetry strips
• Experience with ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, and noninvasive ventilation preferred
• Must be able to work every other weekend and float as needed
• Must be able to pass ECG exam on day 2

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a 16-bed ICU
• Monitor and assess patients with diagnoses including stroke, hemorrhage, respiratory failure, sepsis, ARDS, DKA, AKI, and more
• Administer and titrate drips such as norepinephrine, epinephrine, vasopressin, phenylephrine, and dopamine
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, evidence-based critical care outcomes
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:2
• Support patients on advanced respiratory equipment, including ventilators and BiPAP/CPAP
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards using Epic electronic health records
• Adapt to floating expectations and provide support across assigned critical care units as needed
