With additional current locations in Los Angeles (at the Staples Center), Tulsa (Black Wall Street), Detroit (Harmonie Park) and 6 new stores planned to open in the in next 2 years, we are seeking team members at all levels to join us in our goal of becoming the largest Black owned restaurant group in the nation.
Responsible for efficiently & effectively preparing and portioning food items while following food safety, portioning, and recipe guidelines to ensure ingredients are readily available for daily use. • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, ovens, cookers, flooring, and refrigeration equipment.
p>Job Summary: We are seeking Kitchen Help to assist with various tasks in our food production kitchen, such as preparing ingredients, cleaning work areas, and assisting with food preparation. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional responsibilities include the removal of all empty boxes and full trash containers, putting down chairs in the outlets, filling the ice machines and putting the stock delivery away, plus any other requests from the supervisors, cooks or chefs. These folks are responsible for the cleaning of all the kitchen equipment including, but not limited to the following: pans, trays and stock pots, dishes, glassware, serving utensils.
