Description

The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine's Forensic Medicine Program is recruiting for a part-time OPS administrative assistant. This position will provide administrative and operational support to the division, assisting with day-today office tasks, supply and equipment inventory, organization of evidence and case-related materials, and general office duties as assigned.

Job Description:

This part-time, OPS position will provide administrative and operational support to the division, assisting with day-today office tasks, supply and equipment inventory, organization of evidence and case-related materials, and general office duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence
  • Track, count, and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials
  • Organize, label, and maintain evidence and case files in accordance with chain-of-custody and departmental protocols
  • Assist with retrieving and refiling records and materials as requested by staff
  • Support general office operations and special projects as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive case information at all times

 

Expected Salary:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive materials with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency with basic office software, such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow established procedures
