Office Services Clerk

Role Description

Tressler is seeking an Office Services Clerk to join our Office Services Department in the Chicago office. This position plays a key role in supporting daily firm operations. The Office Services Clerk provides administrative and operational support to attorneys and staff, assisting with a variety of office services functions, including mail processing and delivery, file organization, supply inventory and restocking, and support with printing, copying, and scanning documents. This is a fully in-office position based in our Chicago headquarters.

Essential duties include:

• Managing all incoming and outgoing mail, including FedEx and other courier services.
• Preparing mailing labels, shipping labels, and related documentation.
• Providing general administrative support, including copying, scanning, and faxing documents.
• Assisting with office errands, local deliveries, and in-person filings with Cook County departments.
• Ordering, organizing, and maintaining office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assembling and preparing binders and materials for attorneys.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting office equipment, including copiers, scanners, and postage meters.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Have 2–3 years of experience working in a professional office environment.
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and external contacts.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
