We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Administrative Assistant to support a senior leader within a dynamic, mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a part-time, temporary, in-office opportunity with the potential for expansion based on performance and organizational need.
Schedule
3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Fully in-office
Compensation
$20-$24/hour, with some flexibility based on experience
Position Overview
This role provides administrative and operational support within a collaborative development team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with databases/CRM systems, and confident interacting with both internal stakeholders and external donors.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between departments (including finance and database teams) regarding agreements, gifts, and donor information
Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparation and collection of materials
Draft and send donor communications, including welcome and acknowledgment letters
Run and distribute reports related to grants, funds, and foundations
Maintain accurate records and enter data into internal systems/CRM
Track and enter event or program attendance
Provide general administrative support, including mail distribution and event preparation (e.g., printing materials, nametags)
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and polished demeanor
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required)
Experience working with CRM systems or databases required (specific platforms not required)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience working in a nonprofit or development/fundraising environment
