    Baptist Health is hiring an Administrative Assistant to join our Emergency Department Service Line at Baptist Oakleaf in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity. This position may require travel to support Emergency Departments across the Baptist Health system based on departmental needs.

    The Emergency Department Service Line supports emergency care operations across Baptist Health, helping ensure leaders and teams have the administrative support needed to provide efficient, high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage confidential information, coordinate multiple priorities, and work effectively with leaders across the organization.

    Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:

    • Perform administrative and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature
    • Provide administrative and operational support to Emergency Department Directors
    • Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars across multiple departments and locations
    • Prepare correspondence, documents, reports, and statistical information for Emergency Department leadership
    • Maintain organized records and documentation while handling confidential information appropriately
    • Communicate effectively with leaders, team members, and other departments to support daily operations
    • Travel to and provide administrative support for system Emergency Departments based on department needs

    Administrative Assistant Experience:

    • 1-2 years Administrative or office support experience (required)
    • Experience supporting leadership or multiple departments (preferred)
    • Experience handling confidential information (preferred)
    • Healthcare or hospital experience (preferred)

    Administrative Assistant Education & Credential Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
    • Additional education in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred)
