Practice Administrator Jobs
Practice administrators work in medical clinics and oversee their day-to-day activities. In this role, an individual might work closely with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other staff, as well as patients.
A practice administrator might be responsible for:
• Staffing the clinic, including recruiting, hiring, and firing clinical and nonclinical staff members
• Creating and maintaining budgets for various supplies
• Negotiating contracts and other agreements with outside vendors, including medical supply companies and pharmaceutical organizations
• Monitoring transactions and billing practices to make sure the clinic remains in the positive.
