Materiel Management Specialist IVKnowledge, Skills and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of simple arithmetic; of the English language; of storage methods and procedures; of inventory methods and techniques and maintaining detailed inventory records; of warehousing practices and techniques; of stock handling; of the operation of warehouse equipment; and of stock identification methods; of the methods and procedures for acquisition of material; of warehousing methods, principles, procedures, and expediting techniques; of inventory methods and procedures; of the use of the various types of mechanical equipment used in warehousing operations; and of supervisory principles and practices. Ability is required to write simple reports; to follow oral or written instructions; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to store and warehouse a variety of supplies; to maintain detailed inventory records; to maintain accurate warehouse records; to follow oral and written instructions; to provide training and supervision to others; to take accurate inventories; and to write reports and keep records.
