The Director will also provide ongoing management of new and existing manufacturing operations globally through a cross functional team of sourcing and quality assurance professionals, focusing on strategic planning, country of origin diversification, developing and tracking supplier KPIs, and alignment through ongoing continuous improvement efforts to control and reduce costs and enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency. Knowledge of these materials and subjects a plus: cold rolled and hot rolled steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel grades and proper uses, aluminum types and tempering, dissimilar metals reaction, screws/fastener makeup and uses, PP, PE, PVC, plastics, and composites.
