Job Opportunity – Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, every other weekend, no on-call required
Highlights:
- Cardiac Medical ICU specializing in acute MI, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, post-interventional cardiac procedures, and TAVR patients
- Patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 for optimal quality care
- EPIC electronic medical record system required
- Advanced critical care equipment including IABP, Impella, CRRT, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring
- 30-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- 36 hours of orientation provided; may float to other units as needed
Requirements:
- Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- EPIC charting system experience mandatory
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
- Experience with arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, continuous IV sedation, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Competency in care of ventilated patients, ABG interpretation, and multi-system organ dysfunction management
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required (at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
