Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour Night shifts; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

Highlights:

  • Provide specialized nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit with a focus on abdominal transplant patients including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants
  • Maintain a manageable patient ratio of approximately 1:5
  • Utilize Epic EMR system for comprehensive patient documentation
  • Work within a combined ICU/PCU unit environment (PCU-level patients only for travel nurses)
  • Access to interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
  • Key skills include telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, central line management, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting required
  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system required
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Willingness to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
  • Must provide 2 professional references, with at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role
  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
