Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 3x12-hour Night shifts; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
Highlights:
- Provide specialized nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit with a focus on abdominal transplant patients including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants
- Maintain a manageable patient ratio of approximately 1:5
- Utilize Epic EMR system for comprehensive patient documentation
- Work within a combined ICU/PCU unit environment (PCU-level patients only for travel nurses)
- Access to interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
- Key skills include telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, central line management, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting required
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Willingness to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Must provide 2 professional references, with at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
