A global engineering solutions company is looking for an Office Assistant to assist with order entry and maintenance and to perform various administrative/front office duties. The ideal candidate is highly organized and has basic MS Office skills.
 
Salary: $18/hr
Location: NW Houston, TX 77092
Type of Position: Temp to hire
 
Responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors and answers incoming external phone calls.
  • Organize and maintain facility supplies and consumables.
  • Provide administrative support to Production, Sales, QA/QC and Shipping teams.
  • Maintain both digital and physical filing systems ensuring data is accurately stored.
  • Update and maintain PMI report log.
  • Raise purchase orders in D365 operating system.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
  • Participate and encourage others to participate in company HSEQ initiatives.
 
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of administrative experience within an industrial industry
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self motivated, flexible to change, and detail oriented
