Summary

Client is seeking a flexible and customer-focused Area Customer Service Coordinator to support daily operations across multiple client locations within the San Francisco and San Rafael area. This role is responsible for delivering operational support across managed service accounts, including mail services, shipping and receiving, reception, hospitality, conference room support, and copy/production services. The ideal candidate will thrive in dynamic environments, adapt quickly to changing customer needs, and maintain a high level of service excellence while supporting multiple sites and teams.
Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations for managed service accounts across multiple customer locations
  • Provide operational coverage for onsite staff absences, vacations, training, and implementations
  • Deliver mailroom, shipping & receiving, copy/production, reception, hospitality, and conference room support services
  • Assist leadership with process improvements, operational compliance, procedural testing, and validation activities
  • Support onboarding and cross-training of new team members
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Site Procedure Guides and operational documentation
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards
  • Maintain a customer-focused environment and support customer satisfaction initiatives
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer and end-user requests
  • Escalate customer issues to management and assist with issue resolution through completion
  • Collect operational data and assist with Monthly Operations Review activities
  • Travel between customer locations as required to provide operational support
  • Work independently or collaboratively with onsite teams depending on business needs
  • Adapt to varying customer environments including corporate offices, law firms, retail, and warehouse locations
  • Perform additional duties and operational support tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 12 months of related customer service, office services, or operations experience
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules, locations, and customer requirements
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and common computer applications
  • Experience with file management and navigating network production folders
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Basic mathematical and administrative skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate expense reporting and documentation
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to support locations within a 40-50 mile radius as needed
  • Valid driver's license and minimum insurance coverage may be required upon permanent employment
  • Office and warehouse environments with varying customer site conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stretching, and lifting throughout the workday
  • Frequent travel between customer locations within the operational area
  • Schedule flexibility required, including potential early morning, evening, or weekend shifts
  • Extensive walking between buildings and customer sites may be required
  • Moderate dexterity and regular use of office equipment and computer systems required
