Description
Client is seeking a Legal Analyst to provide legal, administrative, organizational, and research support to the Legal Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Support foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other legal proceedings.
Track foreclosure cases and Sheriff’s sales
Prepare and maintain contracts, mortgage/lien releases, reports, budgets, amendments, and legal documents.
Conduct legal and records research and verify documents/forms for accuracy.
Assist Legal Counsel with filing, document preparation, transmittals, and correspondence.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a law firm, government legal department, corporate legal department, or similar environment OR a relevant 2- or 4-year degree, such as Paralegal Studies, with applicable experience.
Experience with legal terminology and procedures.
Strong legal research, documentation, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
