Summary:

The Convention Services Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Convention Services Department by managing daily office operations, coordinating documentation, and assisting the department's management team with all clerical tasks. Thisincludes preparing correspondence, organizing event materials, maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication between internal departments and clients, and ensuring that all administrative functions run efficiently to support successful convention and group operations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks for convention services
- Adhere to all hotel and banquet standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees to help achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins.
- Prepare event-related documents and materials
- Assist with coordinating event logistics
- All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative assistant experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Candidate will have to pass a grammar/typing test.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
