What you will do:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the CIO and multiple Finance Directors, balancing priorities across leaders and time-sensitive business needs.

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling requests, meeting logistics, room coordination, visitor arrangements, and leadership availability.

  • Coordinate CIO staff meetings, governance reviews, strategic planning sessions, operational reviews, workshops, and offsite events.

  • Prepare, format, proofread, and distribute executive communications, agendas, presentations, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up documentation.

  • Facilitate domestic and international travel arrangements; support expense reporting, payment processing, purchasing activity, and corporate card reconciliation.

  • Serve as a professional liaison between the CIO office, Finance Directors, internal stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional leadership teams.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion, including business strategy, personnel matters, organizational changes, financial information, and technology initiatives.

  • Support special projects, communications, leadership events, and operational improvements that improve the effectiveness of the CIO organization.

  • Build relationships across the executive administration staff to drive collaboration, consistency and cover for office absences.

What you will have:

  • Experience supporting senior executives, CIO, CFO, vice president, or leadership team.

  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel, expenses, presentations, and communications for multiple leaders.

  • Experience working in a finance, business services, IT, manufacturing, or large-enterprise environment.

  • Experience supporting confidential matters, leadership communications, procurement workflows, or customer and vendor-facing coordination.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

  • Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights.
  • Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free.

Summary Pay Range:

$55,840.00 - $83,760.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
