Administrative Assistant II
Location: Kearny Mesa, San Diego, CA
A growing organization in Kearny Mesa is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II to support daily office operations and provide administrative support to multiple departments.
Job Duties:
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails professionally
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and business correspondence
Maintain organized files, records, and office documentation
Perform data entry and update internal databases accurately
Coordinate office supplies, shipping, and general office operations
Assist with special projects and department administrative tasks
Support multiple managers and departments in a fast-paced environment
Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism
Assist with document processing, scanning, filing, and recordkeeping
Qualifications:
Previous administrative assistant or office support experience required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments effectively
Experience supporting multiple departments or managers preferred
Professional demeanor and ability to work independently and collaboratively
High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
Position Details:
Contract to hire role
Located onsite in Kearny Mesa, San Diego
Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
8:00am-5:00pm PST
Compensation: $23.00-$28.00 per hour DOE
