Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Production Clerk)

Duration: 8+ months Contract (possible to extend)

Location: Houston TX, 77041

Payrate: $25/hr. on w2 (without benefits)

Hours: 7AM - 3:30PM | M-F.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Clerk to join our Production team. The Production Clerk will be responsible for performing administrative tasks, managing documentation, entering data into electronic systems and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Manufacturing Site. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, SAP S4 HANA knowledge and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Process Orders, Box Counts, and production activities.
• Process order counts, open order tracking, product labeling accuracy and other relevant production documentation.
• Ensure all orders are recorded and closed out in the production management system (PMS).
• Production Management Support:
• Assist in reconciliation and reporting of batches.
• Generate reports, identify discrepancies, and assist with batch ticket creation and closing.
• Communication and Coordination:
• Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, order status, and other inquiries.
• Assist in coordinating required documentation and pulling schedule board visual panels.
• File Management and Organization:
• Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all related production documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to document storage and retrieval.

General Office Support:

• Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, emails, and scheduling meetings.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documentation as required by the warehouse management team.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate''s Degree or higher preferred).
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a Manufacturing or production administrative role.

Skills:

• Strong computer skills, especially with SAP S4 HAN and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• May require occasional overtime or weekend work depending on operational needs.
