Non-Clinical - Administrative/Administrative Assistant

Location: Durham, NC

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: PT 20 hours per week, days are flexible. Shift Hours 8:30 AM 4:00 PM

Job Summary

In support of a department or group of professionals, this role is regularly required to resolve moderately complex (non-routine) administrative problems independently or with others. Problem resolution may include research. Tasks are typically diverse and advanced and will be confidential in nature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance and accuracy of employee personnel files, ensuring all required licensure and documentation are up to date
  • Collect, compile, and analyze moderately complex data and information to support HR processes
  • Run reports and coordinate communications related to licensure, credentialing, and Joint Commission requirements
  • Support HRBP with pre-hire and onboarding coordination, including tracking documentation, managing communications, and uploading records into systems (e.g., API, OnBase)
  • Assist with new hire orientation logistics and coordination
  • Conduct degree and credential verifications as requested by the HR team
  • Serve as a liaison between HR and employees, supporting inquiries and facilitating communication
  • Provide support on special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned
  • Perform other administrative related duties as needed to support HR operations

Required Experience

  • 2 years of administrative support experience of increasing variety and/or complexity
  • At least 1 year of HR experience, orientation, credentialing upload and verification experience, and electronic file conversion; must be able to understand how to serve in an HR and confidentiality capacity

Required Skills

  • Experience with Excel creating formulas in platform required
  • Attention to detail

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
