    ?The Alamo is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to join the team.

    This is an in-person position, up to 24 hours a week and paid parking.

    Hourly rate will commensurate with experience.

    POSITION SCOPE

    The Administrative Assistant will keep daily tasks running smoothly and will report to the Vice President, Alamo Plan. The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Alamo Plan team, when needed.

    DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Coordinating meetings and appointments
    • Preparing and distributing communications such as memos, emails, or reports
    • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
    • Maintaining filing systems, both electronic and physical
    • Assisting with document preparation and presentations
    • Providing administrative support to Alamo Plan staff or projects
    • Conducting research and compiling data
    • Handling travel arrangements, if needed
    • Recording meeting minutes and distributing them as needed
    • Managing calendars and scheduling for Vice President, Alamo Plan.
    • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Coordinating with other administrative staff to ensure cohesive operations

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Prior experience as an administrative assistant
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Familiarity with basic office equipment such as printers
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational abilities
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
    • Experience in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Customer service-oriented attitude
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Experience with virtual meeting platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask
    • Basic knowledge of office equipment
    • Time management skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Basic understanding of administrative procedures
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint is a must
