What You'll DoLead or co-lead end-to-end real estate development projects, including site identification, feasibility, underwriting, financing, construction, and stabilizationIdentify emerging needs and issues that impact housing, economic self-sufficiency or community vitality; propose appropriate responses, including new program or outreach efforts for HDDC to respond to these evolving needsStructure and evaluate transactions using tax credits, grants, loans, and other community development capital toolsDevelop and manage financial models, pro formas, and investment analysesPartner with developers, lenders, public agencies, and community stakeholders to advance projectsOversee project budgets, timelines, and compliance requirementsIdentify and pursue new development opportunities through RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and public-private partnershipsCollaborate with internal leadership to align real estate strategy with programmatic and capital prioritiesSupport capital raising, investor reporting, and impact storytellingRepresent HDDC in negotiations, community forums, stakeholder meetings, conferences, tours, presentations, and as otherwise directed.
