In just four years in office, Supervisor Carlson has worked to secure additional funding for Animal Services, completed the first-of-its-kind LGBTQIA+ Service Assessment, invested $5 million into a District IV Youth Center, fully allocated $1 million of Community Impact Funds, supported the Federal Glover Wellness Center and secured funding for the Services and Access for Everyone (SAFE) Center. Education: Possession of an Associates' degree from an accredited college or university in public relations, business, communications, management, political science, economics, psychology, sociology, social science or closely related field, or successful completion of 60 semester or 90 quarter units from an accredited college or university.
