They are responsible for greeting patients in person and over the phone, providing information, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, verifying and updating patient information, collecting co-pays, providing forms for completion, obtaining pre-authorizations, arranging for referrals and testing, obtaining signatures, following established escalation procedures and communicating with office staff and providers. + Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, care, push and /or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination.
