Description

• Lead on cross-functional and direct sourcing activities for the assigned category.
• Work collaboratively with the wider procurement and internal stakeholder network to set objectives.
• Identify value-generating opportunities with new suppliers.
• Evaluate and review all contract terms and conditions, identifying any key potential risks and red lines appropriately.
• Build strong relationships with existing suppliers and able to build solid relationships with new vendors.
• Ability to negotiate and identify commercial opportunities.
• Develop and report on cost savings to the organization.

Profile

A successful Associate Strategic Sourcing Manager should have:

• Understanding of RFI/RFPs, negotiations and contract reviews.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
• Demonstrable supplier management, with the ability to onboard new suppliers and manage existing relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.

Job Offer

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $95,000 to $120,000 dependent on experience.
• Essential: purchasing/buying/category management of lab supplies, equipment, medical apparatus or equivalent.
