This role serves as the centralized operational lead for high-volume student employment systems, designing, owning, and continuously improving scalable processes for hiring, onboarding, and payroll across multiple programs and funding sources, including peer learning assistants (PLAs), peer tutors, and other student and temporary employees supporting active learning initiatives. The HR Manager serves as the initiator and point of contact for all HR-related matters within the department-Active Learning and the Office of Instruction-as well as a liaison between these units, the Director of Academic Affairs, HR Operations and Compensation, and University Human Resources (UHR) in HR related matters.
