Conducts daily, monthly, and yearly checks and inspections of airfield operations, including quality control and safety inspections on aviation fuel and fuel farm; equipment on vehicles, such as, air packs, tools, oil and fuel levels, pumps, radio, and EMS supplies. Aircraft Rescue & Fuel Specialist I, under the general supervision of the Supervisor, performs a variety of ARFF, fire prevention, and aircraft service and fueling that includes ARFF responses, emergency medical support, airport operations and line service duties.

p>The Safety Specialist I provides knowledge and expertise in the safety programs within the UT San Antonio Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Management Programs and assist the institution with compliance in chemical safety, biological safety, physical safety, radiation safety, laser safety, fire and life safety, or environmental protection programs.

p>The Temporary Wildfire Mitigation Specialist Senior will provide emergency planning support to Austin Water’s Wildland Conservation Division (WCD), strengthening existing wildfire emergency planning at the division level and working with partners and cooperators to better integrate WCD with other departments and jurisdictions.

• Must be able to obtain International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Wildfire Risk Reduction qualification, or Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) certification, or National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Wildfire Mitigation Specialist, or Burn Manager, or Prescribed Burn (RxB) 3, or Firing Boss within six (6) months of acceptance of position.

Support operations by recruiting new affiliates for areas of coverage needed • Ensure all contracts are received, updated, and current • Manage and update COIs, licenses, and any other required subcontractor paperwork • Train (or retrain) affiliates as required in the usage of the company software portal • Resolve any concerns or issues from affiliates as prompted • Maintain a strong business relationship and general rapport with our service partners • Support operations in the execution of monthly KPIs by ensuring affiliates are responsive • Utilize affiliate network management and oversight as a means to develop a pipeline of business partners for acquisition targets via business reviews and ongoing dialogue • Support Acquisitions Integration team as required • Ensure all affiliates are engaged and supported through company wholesale opportunities • Support operations for emergency situations whereby immediate coverage for an individual customer site • Support branches by way of coverage maps and territory breakout to better ensure gaps in coverage or service lines are documented and maintained • Create bulletins and communications as needed to ensure training and other associated activity with the service network is administered as required • Meet or exceed all departmental KPIs as assigned • Maintain professional quality relationships with Branch and Affiliate Partners at all times.
