Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry/PCU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of experience.

Details

• Work in the Internal Float Pool caring for PCU/Telemetry patients
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Handle ED boarder patients within specialty when available
• May float between two nearby facilities within specialty as needed, with primary need at the main facility
• Shift location assignments communicated in advance

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care to progressive care unit patients
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (no local candidates)
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront prior to assignment start
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if requested on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
• Former Emory or Houston health system employees must have been separated for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
