Travel Nurse RN - Neuro ICU - $2,251 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week with day/night rotation (rotating approximately every 4 weeks based on unit needs). Every other weekend required. Weekend shifts for night shift are defined as Friday and Saturday nights. 2:1 patient ratio across all shifts.

Highlights:

• Neuro ICU specializing in complex neurological conditions including stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, seizures, neuromuscular diseases, and post-operative neurosurgery patients
• Advanced critical care environment with invasive neuromonitoring including ICP monitoring, EVD management, and EEG monitoring
• Epic electronic medical record system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and lift teams
• Experience with mechanically ventilated patients, bedside procedures including central line and arterial line management, tracheostomy, and PEG tube care
• Floating may be required to units of equivalent or lower acuity within the organization
• Travel assignment with option for requested time off (two periods available per contract)

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association certifications only)
• Required clinical skills: IV start and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, intracranial pressure monitoring
• Epic charting system experience required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership; charge nurse acceptable for second reference)
• Must complete urgent fingerprinting requirements for Ohio compliance upon contract signing
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
