Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a strong background in acute care nursing.

Shift Information

This role involves working evening and night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend and holiday rotations will be based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit.
  • Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years.
  • Epic experience is required for this position.
  • Valid Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, AHA only.
  • Candidates must pass a Telemetry test before starting the role.
