Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. The position requires commitment to working evening and night shifts, specifically from 1900 to 0730, with rotations on weekends and holidays based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients on the Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.
  • Monitor patient status and respond to telemetry readings as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic system.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a compact RN license.
  • Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years.
  • Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a telemetry competency test prior to starting the position.

Schedule

This position involves three 12-hour night shifts per week, with specific requirements for weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs.
