Assignment Overview

Join our team as an RN specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. This role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of Med/Tele RN experience, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting within a Level 1 Trauma Center. You will be caring for a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic and trauma injuries, post-operative needs, and complex co-morbidities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor patients with orthopedic and trauma injuries
  • Care for patients with acute or chronic diseases
  • Perform post-operative care and monitoring
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide discharge planning and patient education

Qualifications

Required:

  • BLS certification
  • BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) competency
  • 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills
  • IV insertion and care, central line management

Preferred:

  • ACLS certification
  • National certification in Medical-Surgical or Nephrology Nursing
