RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel |

Assignment Overview

Join our team as a MedSurg/Tele RN, where you'll provide care to patients with acute or chronic diseases, post-operative patients, and those with comorbidities in a collaborative, Level 1 Trauma environment. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience.

Assignment Details

  • Shift: 5x8 Days
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2100 (negotiable)
  • Technology/Equipment: EPIC EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis Med Dispensing, Phillips Monitors
  • Floating to all adult med surg/telemetry units in house
  • 1 day orientation and 2 days departmental training included
  • Support: 24/7 RT, Hospitalist, Intensivist, Central Telemetry Unit

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for med-surg patients
  • Conduct clinical assessments and cardiac monitoring
  • Manage IV insertions and care, and central line management
  • Coordinate patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Plan discharges and conduct patient education

Qualifications

Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
  • BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) with EKG competency
  • Strong clinical assessment and med-surg skills
  • Trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts

Preferred:

  • ACLS Certification
  • National Medical-Surgical Certification
