The Kitchen @MCASD is a unique restaurant and cafe overlooking the Pacific Ocean, nestled within the stunning Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Surrounded by world-class art and breathtaking coastal views, every day brings something new. Skills needed to join this dynamic team:Excellent sense of customer service.Extensive knowledge of food, wine and service.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.Be extremely familiar with the sequence of fine dining service and dining room procedures. Understand and possess a strong sense of cost control.Knowledge of wine regions and varietals.Knowledge of safety and sanitation.Working knowledge of computer word processing programs (word, excel, etc.) and restaurant POS programs.Basic understanding of California wage and hours laws and the ability to review and submit payroll.Communicate and understand the English language and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. ScheduleWednesday - Sunday: Daytime ServiceOne specialty dinner service per month - Often the 1st Thursday of the monthPay Range: $75k - $80kApply Today!
