Summary
Research Administration Specialist III
We are seeking a Research Administration Specialist III to join the Discovery Science Division, which includes the research departments of Immunology, Metabolism & Physiology, Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis, Drug Discovery, Molecular Oncology, and Bioengineering.
Position Highlights:
The Research Administration Specialist III, works under limited supervision and is responsible for delivering a range of administrative specialist support services. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day administrative operations, including assisting with grant proposals, administrative duties related to department chairs, department leaders, and department program activities within the division. The position is additionally expected to resolve and complete complex administrative tasks, and oversee projects as assigned. This position is the third level in the Research Administration career path and is vital for ensuring the efficient operation of the division and maintaining a professional work environment.
The Ideal Candidate
A highly capable administrative professional with experience in a healthcare, research and/or academic setting, who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and support the smooth operation of the division.
The ideal candidate communicates clearly, builds strong working relationships, exercises sound judgment, and brings a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to complex tasks and projects.

Credentials and Qualifications
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years administrative support experience in an office setting
Advanced knowledge and understanding of Symplr Contracts software and intermediate understanding of contract processes (for use with material transfer agreements (MTAs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), vendors and other frequent contract submissions).
