The Office Administrative Director will oversee daily office operations for the 150 person LA office. This person will oversee 10-12 administrative staff and be responsible for office wide forecasting/budgeting, people strategy, performance management, office event coordination, and billing oversight.

Description
Act as true strategic partner to firm leadership team.
Collaborate with finance, techonology and talent teams to implement solutations and identify opportunities for progress improvement.
Manage a team of 10-12 administrative professionals.
Lead and manage administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations and productivity.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.
Oversee budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation for the office.
Coordinate with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and organizational growth.
Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations in all administrative practices.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
Support recruitment, training, and development of administrative personnel.
Manage billing concerns and escalations, including being client facing.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding office operations.
Profile
A successful Office Administrative Director should have:
Extensive experience in a law firm setting, ideally Big Law.
5+ years of experience managing teams of administrative staff.
2+ years of experience in a office administrator role.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.
Familiarity with compliance standards and local regulations.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
