LHH is actively seeking experienced Litigation Attorneys for ongoing and upcoming contract opportunities with law firms, corporate legal departments, and public sector organizations throughout California.
These roles are ideal for attorneys who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy handling complex legal matters, and bring strong analytical, advocacy, and case management skills. We are continually partnering with clients seeking litigation professionals across a variety of practice areas and industries.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters
Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents
Participate in all phases of discovery, including document review, depositions, and witness preparation
Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as required
Collaborate with clients, attorneys, experts, and internal stakeholders to develop litigation strategy
Evaluate legal and business risks and provide practical recommendations
Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
Maintain accurate case documentation and litigation files
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active California Bar license
5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government setting
Demonstrated experience handling litigation matters independently
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
