Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will assist with scheduling and management of meetings, correspondence and calendars for the Transplant Leadership team. This role will support meeting agendas, minutes, follow through on action items as requested, maintain organized filing of information, both electronic and paper. Assist with onboarding of new staff related to supplies, workstations and orientation material needs. Manage office supply ordering, and inventory tracking for various Transplant related needs. Position will also support Upstate Transplant Center''s social media calendar and assist in maintenance of the Upstate Transplant Center''s social media accounts to include posting, comment management and community engagement. The Transplant Administrative Assistant plays a central role in managing and enhancing communication across the transplant program. This position ensures clear, consistent, and timely internal communication among clinical and administrative teams, and supports external communication with patients, families, referring providers, and community partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate''s Degree and two years of relevant experience in an administrative role required. Proficient in MS Office and Excel; strong organizational, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills required

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous administrative responsibilities in a health care organization and working knowledge of medical terminology.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday days hours dependent on operational need
