Description
The Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day administrative support to the CEO of Fervo Energy. This position sits within the Office of the CEO and reports to the Executive Assistant to the CEO. The role is responsible for routine administrative functions - including calendar management, travel coordination, and expense processing - enabling the Executive Assistant to focus on higher-level strategic priorities. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and organizational competence.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Manage the CEO's calendar, including scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries
Process and reconcile the CEO's expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
Serve as a first point of contact for routine administrative inquiries directed to the CEO's office
Draft and proofread correspondence and communications as directed
Coordinate meeting logistics, including room reservations, catering, and audio-visual setup
Handle additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Executive Assistant to the CEO
Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive business and personnel information
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably supporting senior executives
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience managing complex calendars and coordinating multi-leg travel arrangements
Experience processing expense reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a startup, energy, or technology company
Experience working within an EA/AA team structure
Familiarity with the Houston business community
Location
This is a full-time, on-site position based at Fervo Energy's headquarters in downtown Houston, operating primarily during standard business hours with occasional flexibility to support executive scheduling needs across multiple time zones, and performed in a standard office environment with primarily sedentary work.
