Administrative Assistant (Floral Department)

 
We are currently seeking an experienced Floral Administrative Assistant. This position will support our Floral Director by creating purchase orders, processing vendor invoices, client communication, daily job costing and scheduling labor.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Enter Purchase Orders into E-Requisition
  • Process vendor invoices to be sure that they are properly coded for the accounting department
  • Assist in placing floral orders with wholesale accounts
  • Receive and cross check in coming floral orders
  • Track daily labor by job code
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Assist floral designers with design work
Qualifications:

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Job Costing Experience
  • Experience in the Floral Industry- 2 years minimum
  • Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
